Before You Start

Cut the broccoli into florets, chop the bok choy, pat the salmon dry, and grate the ginger.

How To Make It
  1. Set the oven to 400°F and line a sheet pan with parchment.
  2. Rub the salmon with the ginger and set it skin side down on the pan.
  3. Bake the salmon, 12 to 14 minutes, until it flakes easily with a fork and reaches 145°F.
    145°F
  4. While the salmon bakes, steam the broccoli and bok choy, 4 to 5 minutes, until the broccoli is bright green and tender.
  5. Toss the vegetables with the fish sauce and lime juice.
  6. Plate the vegetables, set the salmon on top, and serve.
Fix It: If the salmon looks glossy and raw in the thickest part, return it to the oven for 2 more minutes and check that it flakes.
Air Fryer
  1. Heat the air fryer to 380F.
  2. Add the ingredients you would cook on the stove or in the oven in a single layer, without crowding the basket.
  3. Cook for about 16 minutes, shaking the basket halfway, until cooked through and lightly crisp.
  4. Let it rest a minute, then finish and plate the dish as written in the steps above.
Microwave
  1. Add the ingredients you would cook together to a microwave safe bowl along with their liquid.
  2. Cover loosely and microwave in one minute bursts, stirring between each, until hot through.
  3. Let it stand for a minute, then finish and plate the dish as written in the steps above.
