Before You Start

Cut the broccoli into even florets and have the spices measured before you start.

How To Make It
  1. Simmer the vegetable broth, turmeric, curry powder, ginger, and garlic in a wide pan for 2 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Add the broccoli and steam covered for 6 minutes until bright green and fork tender.
  3. Nestle in the tilapia, cover, and poach for 7 minutes until the fish flakes easily and reaches 145°F.
    145°F
  4. Stir in the spinach and cook for 2 minutes until just wilted.
  5. Finish with lemon juice and spoon the broth over the top before serving.
Fix It: If the spices start to stick, add a splash of broth so nothing scorches.
Microwave
  1. Add the ingredients you would cook together to a microwave safe bowl along with their liquid.
  2. Cover loosely and microwave in one minute bursts, stirring between each, until hot through.
  3. Let it stand for a minute, then finish and plate the dish as written in the steps above.
